Loving Zan….
I haven’t talked about Zan in a while…
For those of you that are new readers….Zan was my first Sacred Intimate…the first man that ever touched my body outside of my husband…..at the time I do not know who was more frightened….him or me….as I was his first female client….but not his last.
I worked with Zan for over two years and a half years. He feed me raspberries…and covered me in them….sang me songs….and gave me my first erotic spanking….my first flogging….he also taught me how to use a flogger….I rediscovered my G Spot with him…and discovered my ass fully under Zan’s hands!
I was a tight little bud when I met him….only filled with longing to open just one petal….and with loving care….the petals began to open one by one….
It is because of Zan that I took my first Celebrating The Body Erotic For Women…My first Power, Surrender and Intimacy Workshop…he took me to Purple Passion in NYC…and dressed me in sexy fetish outfits…so that I would have something to wear! It was through Zan that I opened to my pleasure in dressing for play.
And finally, it was because of Zan that I took the Sexological Body Work Course in San Francisco…and he walked me to my first Bd/Sm session with DK…..because I was too scared to go by myself. Zan and I gave Devon two sessions together…..yes…..there are many wonderful memories of my time as a client with Zan.
What is so interesting….is that even as I felt complete with doing Sacred Intimacy sessions with Zan….he still looks after me. The day after a big event in my life..the phone rings…”So what are you doing to take care of yourself today? You know how you get after a big event….don’t fall into your food!! Plan something to take the edge off”…..I listened to that voicemail while I was struggling to keep myself out of a bag of cookies….Zan knows his girl very well…..and receiving his voice mail was like a loving hug…..I laughed at how he knows me….
He and his partner Jim went to Paris last week….and the phone rings…and it is my boys….they were just checking in tell me that they loved me…..as they knew that it was a tough time….
There are teachers and friends that sometimes become forever family.
This Thanksgiving….Zan and Jim will be around my table.

I was glad for this teaching…thank you! If growth all begins with gratitude this is a deep and special acknowledgment of a remarkable teacher, guide and mentor. Happy Thanksgiving, RG - and thanks for the thanksgiving we both feel for Zan.
